In Spring 2021 I applied for an Art Department Assistant internship for a film and I got the position. Filming took place in September right before school started. Over the course of two weekends, I worked as an assistant for both the scenic and prop departments. I set up scenic elements and rigged curtains, as well as painted (and repainted white at the end) the entire wall seen in the pictures below. What made this project extra special was that the film was done with a a 360 degree camera. This made for very specific scenic requirements and it was so interesting to watch and learn about the equipment.
